Strawberry Shortcut

 Does this look good?? It is, my daughter and I made it the other night and boy was it good. Go ahead try it.

What You Need!

1-1/2 qt. (6 cups) strawberries, sliced
1/4 cup  sugar
1 pkg. (12 oz.) prepared pound cake, cut into 12 slices
1 tub  (8 oz.) COOL WHIP Whipped Topping, thawed

Make It!

TOSS strawberries with sugar; let stand 10 min. or until sugar is dissolved.
MEANWHILE, cut each slice of pound cake in half horizontally. Place 1 cake piece on each of 12 dessert plates.
SPOON about 1/4 cup of the strawberries over each cake piece; top with 2 Tbsp. of the whipped topping. Repeat layers.
