Bicycle Playing Cards What’s Your Game? House Party

This past weekend I held a Bicycle Playing Card Party. I was chosen by HouseParty.com to participate in this party. They sent be a box filled with a ton of goodies for the party.

HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!!!

I just wanted to tell all you wonderful MOTHER'S out there to have a great Mother's Day.
To celebrate my sister-in-law Lacey and I are taking her MOM and her GRANDMA out to breakfast. I asked around and apparently there is an amazing little breakfast place in town called The Breakfast Club. So, we are going to try that out.

10 Year Anniversary

Today my wonderful husband and I have been married for 10 long (lol) years. I can't believe it, we made it to a very monumental mark I think.  Now if only we could decide what we are going to be doing on Saturday.

My mother in law is coming up from Oregon to watch the kids for us on Saturday so we can get away for the whole day. Which I am really nervous about because that means leaving my baby girl who is 7 months old all day. Makes me sad actually. Is that crazy or what?

Cinco de Mayo

So, I have everything ready to make some good Mexican food for Cinco de mayo.

We are having:
cheese quesadilla's
chicken & cheese quesadillas
refried beans
rice
corn.
And of course the celebration wouldn't be complete without some virgin daiquiris. We have kids in the house so it has to be kid friendly. 

Do you know why  Cinco de Mayo is celebrated? Up until today I thought it was to celebrate Mexico's independence but I was very wrong. It is actually to celebrate the victory of the french invasion of Mexico.  Mexico's independence day is September 16th. I feel like such a moron not really knowing what Cinco de Mayo was.

Disney Movies

Have you heard about the Hidden Secrets in the Disney Movies?

I heard about it yesterday, and it just disgusts me that people actually sit around watching movies trying to find nasty messages in them. I mean really do they not have anything else to do with their lives. Well actually I guess they don't.

So, if you were wondering what movies they are actually saying contains "THE HIDDEN MESSAGES"
you will have to type that into google to find out because I just think it is so wrong that I can't find myself typing it on my blog.

Big Day

Today is the big performance for my daughter. She has been practing all week for the Princess and The Pea play.

She has to be at the school at 11 and stay there until the first performance is over around 4:15 and then she will get a short break to come home and eat dinner and then back to the school at 6 until around 8:15.  I just really hope she got enough sleep last night because she is one of my girls that has to go to bed around 8 because she just can't stay up any longer. So I guess we will see.

She is super excited about it too so I can't wait to see her in her costume and take pictures.
