My thoughts:
This book has 14 different chapters that each have 5 steps to help you with your finances and even help you teach your kids. Its pretty easy to understand it took me a couple chapters to really understand what was going on but after that it was easy. I would recommend this book to anyone who wants to learn more about controlling their finances.

Cliques, hicks and ugly sticks *Book Review*

Book Description:

(Okay, not dumb, but "older sister dumb.") If that's not enough, Isabel is wreaking havoc in the community trying to get Rough Creek Road paved, the new boy at school will not leave her alone, and then Mama drops the biggest bombshell of all . . . April Grace is no longer going to be the baby of the family .

My Thoughts:
Cliques, Hicks and Ugly Sticks is the second book in the "Confessions of April Grace" series by KD McCrite and now I feel like I need to go and buy the first one.
First of all I have to say I love reading tween and teen books. This book is about an 11 year old girl who is starting junior high and dealing with changes in her family and you can really relate to what she is saying and feeling about all the struggles of school and family. This girl is so darn funny I couldn't help but really laugh out loud in a few parts. I told my daughter what this book was about so I'm going to start her off with the first one and I know she is going to love it being an 11 year old herself and starting 6th grade next year and dealing with her siblings. This book is an excellent book and there is no worry about what your kids may be reading about its Christian based.

My Thoughts:  

This book is so INTERESTING...the many different ways that a penny or other pocket change could be worth more than what we think is unbelievable. I however did not have any coins in my purse that would bring me the big bucks. It is also very fun for the kids to look at all their coins trying to find something that is in the book. If you have tons of coins laying around the house or in a piggy bank you might want to check this book out you never know when you are going to find the rare number or letter and STRIKE IT RICH.

Seventh Generation Diapers Review and Giveaway

I was given the opportunity to try out some eco-friendly diapers and of course I couldn't pass it up, FREE diapers. With having 2 kids in the house in diapers we go through A LOT of diapers. So I was given a package of Seventh Generation Diapers through MyBlogSpark.

Now I have never used these kind of diapers before so I was a little shocked when I opened the package and discovered that they were a light brown in color this is due to the pigment in which Seventh Generation uses on their diapers. There is also no pretty designs or characters on the diapers, so in my case with my 1 1/2 year old I'm thinking it might help with potty training.

The other thing I was worried about was how absorbent they would be but to my surprise they held up to the test and they are super absorbent.
